The cigarette lighter (sockets) on the Ford Mustang are fuses 53 (cigarette lighter) and 54 (auxiliary power point) in the engine compartment fuse box.
Passenger compartment
The fuse panel is located on the right side of the passenger footwell, behind the trim panel and the plastic code card.
To remove the decoration panel, lift it from the rear mounting hooks while pulling it towards you and folding it to the side.
To reinstall it, align the tabs with the grooves on the panel, lower the panel back into place, and then press down on it.
To access the fuse panel, first remove the key code card.
