Trailer fuses

If your trailer’s lamp is blown, check these fuses for blown fuses when replacing bulbs:

  • Main hood fuses 5, 7 and 24
  • Inner fuse box on driver’s side: 10
  • Interior passenger side fuse box: 10

If these fuses are good but the trailer lights are still inoperative, two 7.5 A fuses are blown in the trailer hitch wiring.  To access the 7.5 A fuses:

  1. Open the tailgate and remove the boot floor cover.
  2. Pull out the bottom of the tailgate rubber seal.
  3. Remove the rear trim panel by pulling up the inside edge of the rear trim panel and unhooking the four clips and tabs.
  4. After replacing the fuses, then reinstall the rear trim panel in the reverse order of removal.
