The cigarette lighter (power sockets) on the Saab 9-5 is provided by fuses number 7 (power socket), 26 (rear) in the instrument panel fuse box and 25 (power sockets) in the engine compartment fuse box.
Fuse box in the engine compartment
The fuse box is located on the front left side of the engine compartment.

Fuse box in the trunk
The fuse box is located on the left side of the luggage compartment behind the glove box.
- Remove the glove box cover.
- Pull out the center of the rivet, then pull out the entire rivet (1)
- Pull out the glove box by tilting it downwards (2)
- For full access to the fuse box, fold out the pre-cut tab (3)
