For the cigarette lighter (power sockets) in the Ford Mondeo there are fuses No. 10 (driver’s auxiliary power point at the front), No. 16 (console auxiliary power point) and No. 17 (trunk auxiliary power point (wagon only)) in the fuse in the engine compartment of the box .
Fuse panel in the passenger compartment
It is located behind the decorative panel on the left side of the steering column.

Power Distribution Box – Bottom
There are fuses on the bottom of the fuse box.
To access, do the following:
1) Release the two latches on either side of the fuse box.
2) Lift the inside of the fuse box from the cradle.
3) Move the fuse box towards the center of the engine compartment.
4) Turn the outside of the fuse box to access the bottom.
